Easy & Healthy Brownies

The kids and I love to bake. Not only is it a learning experience for the kids, but it's something we can all do together. I try to make simple desserts that don't require a lot of ingredients. This one is super simple and can be whipped up in under an hour.

You will need:

• 1 cup of  dark chocolate

• 2 eggs

• 1/4 cup of honey

• 1/3 cup of flour

• 1 pinch of salt

• confectioners sugar for garnish (optional)

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease an 8x8 baking dish.

Melt chocolate on low heat. I don't have double boiler or a microwave, so I just melt on low in sauce pan and continue to stir to combine.

In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs. Add in honey, and then melted chocolate. Mix and incorporate until mixture looks like brownie batter. Sift in your flour and pinch of salt. Mix until all lumps are combined.

Pour batter into baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes or until completely cooked through in the middle.

Optional step is to sprinkle on confectioners sugar after cooling.

As you can see it got eaten before I could take the photo!
