4 DIY Spa Exfoliating Treatments






Soothing lavender


Start with 4 tablespoons of baking soda. This helps absorb facial oil. Next ad 4 tablespoons of jojoba oil. Very lightweight, won't clog pores. Incorporate lavender essential oil. It's calming effects promote deep sleep. Finish with two teaspoons of lemon juice. This acts as an astringent for oily skin and also brightens your face.





Oatmeal

Add in 4 tbsp of oatmeal. This is gentle enough for sensitive skin. Add plain yogurt as the binder. This contains lactic acid which helps dissolve dead skin. Next is rosehip oil. Full of antioxidants and other anti-aging ingredients like vitamins a and c. Finally 2 teaspoons of turmeric. Let's brighten skin and fights bacteria causing breakouts.



Sugar or Salt Scrub 4 tbs of sugar or salt.Salt is more abrasive and should only be used on the body, sugar is more gentle.Sunflower oil is next full of antioxidants and vitamin E. Ylang -Ylang for an intense floral aroma. And lastly honey which has amazing moisturizing properties. 



 Coffee Scrub Add 4 tbs of coffe grounds, this temporarily tightens skins and should only be used on the body. Coconut oil for intense healing of dry skin. Tea tree essential oil for antibacterial properties,great for acne with a natural herb scent. Mashed up kiwi is last. The acids help breakdown dead skin cells.
